Wonderful french 19th century gilded rectangular mirror. Beautiful antique rectangular mirror from france. The mirror has a wooden frame, decorated with gesso and gilded with gold leaf. The mirror dates from about 1880. The glass is original from the time, which is why there are some weathered spots in the glass. The frame is in a good healthy condition and has a beautiful antique patina. Original wooden back. This mirror is antique and looks very modern at the same time. It can be hung horizontally and vertically and will make a fantastic decorative accent in any interior.
