Antique ironstone tureen, enhanced by a refined decoration of deep blue beaded garlands and floral medallions punctuated with warm ochre. The curved handles and the knob delicately highlighted with rust-colored lines lend the piece an elegant and balanced decorative presence. The rust-colored borders that accentuate its curves add a warm and graphic touch, highlighting the beautiful presence of its generous form. Stamped Faïencerie Saint-Amandinoise, in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, a factory founded in 1900, before its merger with other ceramic companies in the region in 1923. The model is pattern 6523, elegant and richly decorated. In good vintage condition, still very shiny, with slight, discreet signs of age consistent with its age, no cracks or chips. Some wear to the edges of the lid and tureen (see photos). Width with handles 29cm, opening diameter 20cm, height with lid 13cm, height without lid 7.5cm. Charming without being imposing, this piece is ideal for a table with an elegant, slow-deco feel, blending heritage and modernity.
