Mid-century spider chandelier by Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte, Italy, 1940s.

The rare mid-century spider chandelier was made by Fontana Arte in Italy in the 1940s. Attributed to designer Pietro Chiesa for the Italian manufacturer Fontana Arte, the chandelier consists of 6 brass wire arms. At each end is a flower-shaped aluminium light holder. The lights are fitted with crystal glass bowls measuring 13 cm in diameter. The ceramic sockets are original. In very good vintage condition. A wonderful and rare piece that embraces the Art Deco style of the Church. The chandelier is ideal for important dining rooms or for furnishing living rooms in the Art Deco style.
