Vintage wall plate of the famous Ruscha Weiss series. Made in black, with colored glazing in the image of a fisherman and a fish. The imagery on this tile (fish) is very well known and was first performed in the 1950s. Ruscha Keramik is named after Rudolf Schardt, who took over the company when his father retired in 1948. It was one of the main factories of the "golden age" of the ceramic era. She made masterpieces in vases and wall tiles with a distinct and creative lava icing. These beautiful expressive shapes have been manufactured for indoor and outdoor applications. Just like other ceramics, shape numbers have been used again for other designs, which can be very confusing. Ruscha closed in 1996. Dimensions: 25 cm x 10 cm. Weight: 500 grams. Marked 734 0 Ruscha Handarbeit In perfect vintage condition without scratches or cracks. Just normal signs of age and use.
