Lot 2 - Charming set of four antique/vintage Limoges porcelain dinner plates, very fine and translucent in the light, stamped B & C°, Bernardaud et Compagnie, produced between 1920 and 1950. Elegant octagonal design with a wide rim, a typical Art Deco shape. Multicolored floral transfer decoration with a blue border, spring-like, warm, cheerful, and traditional. 24.7 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm high. In good used condition, although the decoration shows some manufacturing flaws and wear to the transfer and rim. Two of the plates have a discreet chip, and there are a few very light utensil marks. Some show a little use, with a slight patina on some, and one has a manufacturing defect: a small interior area appears to have been filed down, but this is not noticeable and discreet. Approximately 250g each. Hand washing is recommended; occasional dishwasher use on a gentle, low-temperature cycle is fine.
