Mid-century Italian opaline white Murano table lamp

A stunning, heavy table lamp in white Murano glass (opaline), with a partly transparent edge to the shade. Probably made by Mazzega, although the designer and maker have not yet been confirmed. The soft, milky-white glass with its clear edge gives a beautiful, atmospheric light. An elegant lamp for a mid-century, Italian design or Hollywood Regency interior.
