Magnificent vintage telephone table with storage and a chair that converts into a side table. A unique piece from the mid-20th century, it features shelves with rounded edges, typical of the era. The chair part, articulated, folds down to form a base/side table, ideal for displaying and storing vases, books, and other items. The small shelf was originally designed for a telephone directory. The storage space under the seat is spacious. The seat can accommodate a standard cushion. Sold with its original foam cushion (without cover), this table can be customised with the fabric of your choice. A unique and original piece of furniture, it can be used open permanently, offering a chair, table, storage, and display space. Made from composite wood, it has a semi-satin finish. Its structure is solid and intact. The surface shows slight signs of wear. The inside of the shelves, slightly dulled by time, can be painted or upholstered for optimal customisation. When folded into a base, it measures 48 cm wide. When opened, it measures 95 cm wide.
