Amsterdam School / Art Deco floor lamp stained glass

DESCRIPTION: An elegant Amsterdam School floor lamp with a stained glass shade. The shade features a beautiful geometric pattern typical of this timeless style. The glass is set in lead and gives a warm glow to the room. This shade rests on an equally unique neck where the dark elements create a beautiful interplay of lines. This then transitions into the unique oak base, which gradually widens for a sturdy foundation; the base also features black drop-shaped elements for extra detail. In short, a beautiful lamp where lines and colour will adorn the space. DIMENSIONS: Height: 152cm, Shade diameter: 48cm, Base diameter: 36cm. CONDITION: Almost perfect condition, the wiring and fittings have been modernised, the lamp has a foot switch that can be dimmed by pressing it longer or shorter. The base has light signs of use appropriate to its age (see last photos for a better idea of the condition).
