Nice little piece of furniture loom watchmaker's layette stamped hbjo opened by 22 sliding drawers and a niche on the front. In solid wood, spruce from the jura mountains, natural color, twentieth century. Dimensions: 70 X 30 X h25. A layette is a piece of furniture with wooden drawers assembled by hand in kinds of small furniture or dressers intended for the most diverse storage. Layettes were often used by the watch industry, which appreciated this furniture for its multiple storages. The archives also used them for the storage of old documents.
