Vintage John Ild Wall Cabinet Philippe Starck Design

In 1977, Philippe Starck designed the John Ild model, the first bookcase of his career. It was subsequently released by Disform (Spain). The name is derived from Ubik, a character from the science fiction novel to which the designer frequently refers. View the photos for all details! The construction consists of two black metal tubes that are placed against the wall. Five black lacquered wooden shelves rest on these. Therefore, the cabinet does not need to be screwed to the wall. The bookcase has five shelves 100 cm wide and with a depth of 20 to 40 cm. The cabinet is in good condition with normal signs of use. One shelf has a small crack in the side; this poses no consequences. Dimensions approx.: Height: 220 cm, Width: 100 cm, Depth: 40 cm
