Jasper Morrison Early Thinking Man's Chair for Cappellini 1988

Early edition of the Thinking Man's Chair designed by Jasper Morrison in 1985. In 1988 Cappellini took the chair with a few modifications into production. This particular chair was acquired by the previous owner in the early 1990s. He wanted to design a chair that was all structure and no closed surfaces. The chair is fully made of metal varnished in sage green. This colourway is not available anymore. The areas that support the body are made of flat bars and the main structure is tubular; the armchair has armrests equipped with integrated drink rests. The chair is in very good original condition. Only minimal traces of wear.
