Table lamp with organic seed pod-like abstract patterns by jørgen mogensen (1927-2004) for his own studio, in stoneware with "sung" glaze in nut brown, greenish and raw umber, denmark, late 1960s. Jørgen mogensen left royal copenhagen in 1964 to start his own business and this lamp is a result of that. The underside is signed with the artist's signature, denmark and "f245". It is so beautiful and decorative, with an incredible play of colour in the glaze, very well executed piece of pottery this. It has a new socket and new white cord (on/off is directly on the socket) It is without chips, chips or other defects, only with minimal wear.
