Creil & Montereau Strawberry plate order George Sand

Earthenware plate from the creil & montereau manufacture, model with a decoration of strawberries in pink and red flowers in light relief and painted by hand. Model used by the writer george sand (1804-1876) in nohant and often referred to by his name. Brand on the back of the creil & montereau manufacture corresponding to the period of production 1840-1876 and model name "fraise". One of the plates with a few chips (see photo) the other is in good condition and has no defects except the patina of time.
