HB Quimper plate, Camaïeu model, green and saffron floral decoration

Earthenware plate signed HB Quimper, from the famous “Camaïeu” pattern, presented here in a particularly rare and unusual color combination. The decoration, of great graphic finesse, combines stylized deep black flowers, emerald green foliage, luminous saffron highlights, and a yellow and green border with an almost Mediterranean feel. The perfectly balanced central motif is framed by several successive borders—dotted lines, alternating foliage, and zigzags—which give this plate exceptional decorative power, blending Breton tradition with the graphic modernity of the 1950s and 60s. Stamped HB Quimper 176 P, typical of internal workshop markings (decoration reference, palette, and series), attesting to an authentic production from the Henriot Quimper pottery. In good vintage condition, with a glossy glaze and fresh colors. The glaze has some minor imperfections that are visible when held up to the light (see photos). Diameter 24 cm.
