This elegant, modernist Italian chandelier was most likely designed by Angelo Brotto for Esperia, in the 1960s. Angelo Brotto, a respected Italian designer and artist, collaborated with the lighting company Esperia during the 1950s and 1960s to create a series of distinctive chandeliers. He treated lighting as a form of sculpture, often blending functional design with fine art, as we can experience in this example. The chandelier's size is very impressive and it features a radial design with a central hub with eight horizontal arms extending outward. Each arm holds a light fixture composed of red lacquered metal lamp bodies and a white acrylic light diffuser. Brass details give the piece a warm, elegant touch. The chandelier is in absolutely fantastic original condition. The wiring has been redone. Details: Dimensions of the chandelier: H: 118/ ⌀ 69 cm. Shade dimensions: H: 26/ ⌀: 12 cm. Requires 8x E14 Bulbs. The bulbs are not included in the set.
