Coffee table in elm magnifying glass tree trunk

Amazing brutalist coffee table of the 50s with a superb top shaped in an elm trunk and a tripod base in the shape of solid wood hooves. Very beautiful golden color of the elm magnifying glass (photos in the sun and shade), beautiful veining of wood. Note the presence of a hole in the center of the tray (for the parasol?) and very old wood pulp. A unique piece! Max dimensions: 78 X 72 cm, height: 48 cm, top thickness: 8 cm, weight: 27 kg.
