20th century danish frem røjle roundette dining group, teak table by hans olsen. A vintage mid-century modern danish roundette dining table made of hand carved teakwood, designed by hans olsen and produced by frem røjle, in good condition. The round, scandinavian dining table is extendable, composed with four chairs which fully slide under the table with only the backrests showing along the perimeter, covered with black synthetic leather. Manufacturer label on the bottom. Wear consistent with age and use. 20th century, 1952, denmark, scandinavia. Hans olsen was born in 1919 denmark and passed away in 1992 denmark. He was a danish furniture designer. He studied at the royal danish academy under the danish designer kaare klint. Olsen opened his own studio in 1953, where he designed and produced a series of fascinating pieces in a distinctive style. His most, well know work is the bikini chair (1968).
