Vintage wooden renovated sideboard, 2 doors and 1 drawer.

I don't know all of its history, but this vintage wooden low sideboard already bore the marks of a long life when I found it. Rather than trying to erase them, I chose to preserve what gave it character: the warmth and shades of its wood, its irregularities, and its original turned knobs, which were carefully restored and then put back in place. The piece has been cleaned, sanded, and protected. Inside, I allowed myself a few more unexpected details: its large compartmentalised drawer has been painted in a soft green, while the back of the storage area has been dressed in wallpaper with botanical patterns. Behind its two doors, a shelf makes it easy to organise everyday items. Its low format allows it to fit in an entrance hall, under a window, in a living room as a TV unit, or in a bedroom to hold linen, books, or games. It is primarily a piece of furniture capable of changing function over the years and needs, without losing its character. Like any antique piece, it retains some irregularities related to its history. They are visible in the photographs and are an integral part of its charm.
