Add a touch of retro elegance to your table with this set of vintage glazed terracotta mazagrans, adorned with a delicately hand-painted floral design. Each piece is unique, showcasing the craftsmanship and timeless charm of vintage ceramics. One side is decorated with blue flowers, and the other with red. These cups are made of "cul-noir" earthenware, a porous red or ochre clay to which a tin-glazed glaze is applied, producing an opaque, waterproof white enamel. This earthenware was popular with the less affluent, while the more refined fine earthenware was intended for a wealthier clientele. However, given its utilitarian nature and a high breakage rate, this ceramic, originally much more common than fine earthenware, is now rarer. These cups, typical of the 60s/70s, are perfect for enjoying coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, while adding a touch of whimsy and color to your table setting. Dimensions: H 11.5 X D 8 cm.
