STORAGE FURNITURE BY ANDRÉ SORNAY, CIRCA 1950. Bookcase-cabinet by André Sornay, inventor of the "tigettes" assembly system. Purchased at an auction in 2020. This rectangular storage unit in solid mahogany opens with sliding doors, originally blue lacquered. The interior is fitted with storage shelves. The whole rests on four cut-corner feet. Edition: Meubles Sornay, Lyon circa 1950. Original label on the back of the furniture. Height. 156 cm / 61" Width. 131 cm / 51 3⁄4" Depth. 44 cm / 17 1⁄2".
