Very cool glass plate/dish, made by the famous Rosenthal company in Germany in the 1980s for their studio line, as part of Andy Warhol's now-discontinued "Daisy" design series, making it a collector's item. This beautiful decorative piece is made of glass, featuring a yellow daisy surrounded by gray and white, with a vibrant red-orange background (see photos). It bears both Andy Warhol's signature in black at the top and the maker's mark "Rosenthal studio-line" in black at the bottom (see photos and video), and measures 19.5 cm X 19.5 cm in diameter. The plate is in excellent original and vintage condition, with no visible marks, signs of age or previous use commensurate with time, on the surface, edges, sides or base (see photos and video.) It is clean, with a beautiful original patina of time, with no cracks or chips, as it appears to have been used as a decorative piece. The underside/base of the plate also remains very clean (see photos.) The plate is sold for decoration and display purposes only. It can be hung on a wall with a brass metal plate hanger, or placed on a display stand, as photographed (see photos.) The plate/display stand is not included. All photos are taken in natural indoor light, so colors may vary depending on the brightness, reflections, angles and perspective from which they are viewed.
