Set of vintage boxes for the bathroom, space age design, faience.

These three pieces in white earthenware, encircled by yellow rings, have a silhouette that is instantly recognisable. Two dome-lidded boxes, one tall and capsule-shaped, the other shorter, along with a matching small cylindrical pot. Round volumes, unadorned, where everything relies on form. The contrast between the glossy white and the bright yellow of the three plastic rings is immediately effective. Placed on a basin, a chest of drawers, a desk, or a shelf, the set adds a splash of colour without ever being cluttered. Designed as a bathroom set, it easily adapts: the boxes can hold cotton, jewellery, or small items, while the pot serves as a toothbrush holder, pencil pot, or brush holder. Foam pads under each piece allow them to be placed without scratching surfaces. Date: c. 1970. Colour: white, yellow. Place of production: Italy. Materials: earthenware, plastic. Quantity: set of 3 pieces (2 lidded boxes and 1 pot) In very good vintage condition, without cracks.
