Vintage oak storage unit with drawers from the 50s/60s.

Vintage oak storage unit / chest of drawers from the 1950s/1960s. The piece is made of wood and features a golden oak veneer finish. It offers a good storage capacity: On the left, there are three large drawers in good condition and fully functional, with their original brass handles. Each drawer measures: W 34 cm X D 38 cm X H 15 cm. On the right, a storage compartment — also in very good condition — is equipped with a functional door with its original knob. Inside, there is a removable shelf (W 43 cm X D 39 cm). The available space above the shelf is 26 cm, and 31 cm below. The whole piece is in good original condition and vintage condition. It shows marks and signs of use related to time — visible on the overall structure, the top surface (see photo with a 1-cent coin for scale), the side panels, the drawers, the compartment, the interior, the feet, the handles, and the knob — as well as slight discolouration and a natural patina, which are quite normal for a piece of this age. (See photos). Note: a few small repairs (addition of oak veneer to fill in slight gaps) have been made on the front corners of the edges, as well as on the upper back edge of the right side panel. (See photos). The piece has been cleaned, oiled, and waxed, while preserving its original patina. An aesthetically pleasing and practical piece that will fit perfectly into any type of interior — whether contemporary, mid-century modern, rustic, or vintage — whether in a kitchen, bedroom, living room, dining room, bathroom, etc. All photos were taken in natural light; therefore, the shades may vary depending on brightness, reflections, viewing angles, and perspective.
