8 flat plates marked enoch wedwood and unicorn, both english factories sharing crockery motifs (in staffordshire, such as well street or swan bank). This motif was created in 1860 and bears either the name of asiatic pheasant or oriental pheasant. The first editions were blue. The wedgewood group continues to produce this pattern by its unicorn pottery tunstall branch. A plate has a slight shine underneath (see photo). Very good condition.
