Bonheur du jour or ladies' desk in mahogany with floral mahogany and satinwood. Beautiful warm color. The base cabinet with a large door containing an arched panel and a wide drawer containing a red with gold-edged writing surface. The writing surface can be tilted. When the writing tray is pulled out, a workplace is created. There is another secret drawer in the plinth. Origin: netherlands / early biedermeier. Period: approx. 1830. Size: 86cm X 49cm X h.157cm.
