The luxurious rosewood veneer is characterised by a beautiful flamed pattern, but as is often the case with this finish, it has been susceptible to fading for 60 years. The two hidden extensions under the top are less exposed to the sun and have therefore retained their dark colour, the main top has become a little lighter over the years. However, the table is still very elegant and very usable. So there are two extensions available under the top, you want a little more space. Take the top and pull it out easily and without tools, there is then space for 2 more people in no time, ideal!
