Low Louis XV sideboard painted and patinated in the old style

Beautiful Louis XV style sideboard in the family for several generations, certainly from the 18th century. In oak, it has been revamped by a specialist. with a tempera paint (a clever mix of rabbit skin glue and natural pigments), casein (dry matter of fromage blanc), or tempra (egg and pigments). As in the 18th century, the furniture is painted and retouched in subtle color combinations highlighting the moldings and sculptures. The paints are then "worn", "aged", until they obtain this incomparable patina that seems to have crossed the centuries. Gray, beige, green color. 3 drawers. Very good condition.
