Antique English plate with blue lace border – attributed to Job Meigh, Old Hall, 19th century.

Elegant antique plate in fine English earthenware with a Lace Border design, made in blue on a white background. Magnificent central floral decoration surrounded by a rich pierced border reminiscent of lace, typical of English Staffordshire productions from the early 19th century. Piece attributed to the Job Meigh / Old Hall Works factory, with a "Lace Border" cartouche on the reverse and characteristic manufacturing marks of the period. A charming piece, ideal for a collection of English earthenware, wall decoration, or a table with a country English spirit. Overall good condition for its age. Well-preserved decoration. There is a small chip on the edge (see photos). No cracks observed. Beautiful old patina. Diameter: 22.5 cm. Height: 2.5 cm. Weight: 350 g.
