Pair of Gilt Bronze Sconces with Two Arms and Frosted Glass Roses

Period: ca. Late 19th-early 20th a pair of gilt bronze double-armed sconces holding glass shades. The back plates are of neoclassical design with acanthus leaves and scrolls. Both shades are designed as roses with multiple flared petals and are made of orange frosted glass; they are secured with small thumbscrews. For safe shipping, the roses will be packaged unscrewed from the sconce (do not overtighten the screws or the glass may crack). Condition: good. One of the roses has a few chipped petals (see photo) but these are not noticeable when facing backward/downward. Dimensions: 25 cm wide, 15 cm deep. Back plate: 22 cm high, 7 cm wide, 1 kg each.
