The world-famous Dutch design of H. Busquet, a true design classic. Made in the 50s, it is still today a very sought-after vintage lamp. I repainted the lampshade of this lamp in the original color Vermillion Red. The original paint was too far away and very scratched. The painting and re-jam making the lamp look new, without diminishing quality or functionality. This lamp is suitable for an ordinary E14 bulb, 40W max or LED. Wiring suitable for 110V and 220V, only the socket complies with EU specifications. The minimalist but ingenious design is what makes this lamp special. Few resources were available shortly after World War II, and designers had to deal with what they could find. Hala Zeist imagined this little gem. He can hold on both feet, the back of the lamp by making a tripod. Or you can hang it on the wall with the hook on the back of the lamp. Hala Zeist was founded in 1932 by industrial designer H.Th.J.A. Busquet. He is also the designer of this Pinocchio lamp. Its basic design comes from the fact that, just after the Second World War, few resources were available. The designer turned this problem into an amazing lamp that became an icon of design in itself. The simple tripod makes the lamp fully adjustable and also works as a wall mount. Height: 30cm Diameter: 18cm The color red
