Superb and complete vintage ceramic orangeade or refreshment service from Vallauris, dating from the 1970s. This set stands out for its remarkable textured work, blending areas of glaze with a beautiful shine and rough relief material effects, very characteristic of the famous "Fat Lava" modernist style. The range of hues (browns, sienna, nuanced touches) offers a very warm organic appearance. The service includes: 1 large jug / pitcher: Signed "Vallauris" under the base with initials (resembling a C and an I). Height 20 cm / Diameter at the neck 13 cm. 6 matching cups: Very elegant, mounted on a small foot. Height 11.5 cm / Width (diameter) 6 cm. Details on the condition (in full transparency): The jug: Has a small chip at the neck, which has been cleverly softened and camouflaged with my professional art pencils (Prismacolor) to blend the white clay into the brown decor. It is very discreet. The 6 cups: Impeccable condition, absolutely nothing to report, no cracks or chips.
