This is a stunning mid-century light fixture in faceted glass, dating from the 1970s. These lights were often used in bathrooms, on the ceiling, but could also be used on the wall, and can be used indoors. Outside, in a sheltered place, such as a porch. The galvanized metal backplate attaches to the ceiling or wall and contains a bayonet bulb holder, which is not hardwired. It is not difficult to wire it and will avoid any international compatibility issues. The square faceted glass shade slides over the back plate and is secured with a lever. It's the perfect gift for anyone who loves 1970s style and a fantastic piece of decor. Great for any room, it could be the perfect prop for a 1970s movie, tv show or theater production. In excellent condition with no cracks or chips to the glass. As mentioned above, there is no wiring included. You will need a professional electrician or confident diyer to fix this in the desired location, it will be up to them to make it work there. If you have any concerns about safety, you should have it tested by a professional after installing it. Please view all photos and remember it is approximately 50 years old and pre-owned and used. Approximate measurements: width - 20cm depth - 9cm backplate diameter - 15cm the included bulb holder accommodates a standard b22 bayonet bulb.
