Curved marquetry commode – Marble top – Louis XV-Louis XVI Transition style. Elegant curved commode in veneered wood and marquetry, in the Louis XV-Louis XVI Transition style. The front features a refined composition with several drawers arranged in three rows. It is richly decorated with geometric marquetry, frames, and interlaced patterns highlighting the different types of wood. The curved sides extend into high cabriole legs and are adorned with bronze fittings, as well as lock entries, pull handles, and sabots. The commode is topped with a significant moulded marble top, showcasing beautiful shades of red, ochre, and cream, cut to follow the curves of the front and sides.
