Messager michel was born on april 18, 1930 in beaumon-du-gatinais in seine et marne. Died on october 4, 2018. He is a french painter, sculptor, draftsman. Messager michel carries out ordinary studies and takes drawing lessons with the evening classes of the city of paris. He began his professional life as a wood carving and then gradually began his career as a painter and draftsman. Messager michel really became known from 1959, when he received the first prize for abstract composition at the deauville salon. The painter has many favorite subjects such as still lifes, landscapes... The artist participates in many salons such as the salon des peintres in 1963. Subsequently he exhibited in many countries and traveled to europe and america from which emerge many landscape paintings, seascapes and bouquets of flowers. The artist is also fascinated by masks and costumes. This is why, in 1977, he composed about fifty paintings on the theme of carnival. Messager michel receives the silver medal of arts-sciences-letter and many other distinctions. Messager practices a paradoxical painting linking white and black, light and dark, powerful and fragile, eternal and ephemeral.
