The design of the seats is inspired by the emblematic piece that the Spanish architect Josep Torres Clavé designed in 1934 to be part of the furniture that would house the Spanish Republic pavilion at the Paris International Exhibition of 1937, alongside Guernica by Pablo Picasso and other works by Alexander Calder and Joan Miró. Restored: they have been varnished to consolidate the remains of old paint while maintaining the original patina. Reinforced and solid structure. The joints do not move despite their years. The rope braid is in very good condition.
