Old bee bottle for guerlain made in 1853 by the glassmaker pochet du courval for l'eau de cologne impériale for the empress eugénie. Its "tiles", inspired by the dome of the vendôme column, are accompanied by 69 gold bees, symbols of the empire. Each "tile" and each bee are gilded with fine gold.
