Rare very beautiful covered vase or Persian pottery jar, glazed, Iznik, entirely hand-painted in turquoise with traditional floral, vegetal, and geometric patterns in black. Vintage from the 50s-60s. Unsigned. Relatively large, baluster shape, rounded belly, small round foot, slightly flared neck, small lid with a high knob. Nice craftsmanship, fine decoration, beautiful glazing. 35cm total height, approximately 17cm maximum diameter. Very good condition, some natural cracks in the glazing, superficial and discreet, a few small discreet manufacturing defects, a small very discreet restoration on the lid, see photos. Approximately 1.2kg.
