Trio of textured vases

Trio of vases in black chamotted sandstone, partially enamelled with white. Made entirely by hand with the columbine technique. By Laura Giudice, ceramist, signed vases. Heights of about 14cm, 16cm and 20cm. *** Living between France and Italy, my passion for ceramics was born a few years ago in Sicily. Alternating modeling and turning, always looking for texture imperfections, I mainly make vases. These are part of my very first collection: Stromboli. A buff black earth, a reminder of the volcanic lands of the Aeolian Islands and Stromboli, they are entirely hand-shaped and partially enamelled with white, creating bright white shades, from the duller brown to the black of the earth and its white chamotte.
