A set of six dark-stained solid oak chairs, in the style of the French High Period and Louis XIII — a rare find. The rectangular openwork backrest reveals a beautifully sculpted decoration: leafy scrolls, characteristic volutes, and a central floral medallion in high relief. The upper rail is adorned with a broken pediment cornice featuring a central ring, flanked by volutes reminiscent of the Henri II style. Between the backrest and the seat, a row of turned balusters shaped like vases adds an elegant architectural touch. The turned wooden legs in a beaded design, connected by an H-shaped stretcher, ensure robustness and stylistic coherence. The seat, made of finely woven rattan caning, completes the ensemble with lightness. Patina wear consistent with the age of the pieces, in good overall condition.
