Very nice pair of old prie Dieu chairs, 19th/early 20th century, typical Lorraine chairs, completely "restored" the chairs were pitted and slightly swaying, they were first put "square" solidified, sanded, professionally treated, then patinated to homogenize the appearance, a colorless protective varnish was passed as a finish.
