Towel rack / valet stand in solid oak, Art Deco style

Superb towel rack or valet stand in oak wood, art deco style (probably 1930s). Rare model with a straight stature, with side bars and equipped with 8 hooks on the sides, all in solid oak. The whole thing is mounted on a thick base 3.5 cm thick. Very good manufacturing quality, its bottom is however slightly tiled. Some small areas of missing wood, including two screw holes on the top post, were filled with wood filler (pictured). The whole thing has been completely sanded, treated with xylophene, protected with a hard base, then a 2-coat satin varnish, in order to offer it the best possible protection for a humid environment.
