Butterfly charaxes hansali naturalized under frame. Length: 20cm. Width: 15cm. Thickness: 3.3cm. Tips: rare survivor of a much larger entomological box this charaxes hansali is a superb naturalized butterfly. Originally placed under glass by a mysterious bernard flageaulet in 1997 among other butterflies, it is one of the few not to have been damaged by time passed. This insect has been placed in a second-hand frame for an upcycling that allows it again to have beautiful days ahead of it. This is the species charaxes hansali, a species native to africa that is found for example in tanzania, rwanda or kenya. Its wings are dark brown on which yellow graphic patterns and imperceptible blue shapes are drawn. This black wooden frame is to be installed or suspended thanks to an iron rear fastener. Place it on a fireplace apron or in a frame accumulation to bring out all the beauty of this insect, shaped by nature. An ode to nature, very graphic patterns and a beautiful contrast between black and white create a good mix for this original decorative object. To create a cabinet effect of curiosity in a decoration it is the ideal object. This style of frame can very well marry with an african statuette or another naturalized insect. This revalorized object is slightly in its juice: the frame indeed shows some traces of wear (visible in photo) but the whole remains very well preserved.
