Vintage Saint Louis crystal ashtray, Ambassador model

The iconic cut crystal ashtray from the great French crystal maker Saint Louis, "ambassador" line. This is the clear crystal model, large and in very good condition. The ashtray can be used as a pocket emptier or decorative object. The piece is signed at the tip under the base. (photo with gray arrow). Outer diameter: 15 cm. Inner diameter: 11.5 cm. Height: 6 cm. Weight: 1.670 kg. 20th century, 1970s-1980s. Very good condition, vintage piece. Note some tiny micro-scratches from use on the bottom of the ashtray (visible in raking light), two small chips (double photo with green arrows) and a very discreet small chip (photo with red arrow).
