Low footed bowl / antique compote in Badonviller faience, "Avril" model, Art Deco period (circa 1930). Stylised floral decoration stencilled in burgundy and ochre tones on an ecru background. Stamped under the base. Very good overall condition, no chips, beautiful glaze with superficial crazing from the period. Ideal as a centrepiece, fruit bowl or catch-all.
