Murano Glass Floor Lamp "Ghibli" by Lino Tagliapietra and La Murrina, Italy 1972

Made in italy, 1972. This stunning piece is by lino tagliapietra and produced by la murrina. Specifically this was made when lino was artist director and master at la murrina. The idea behind this lamp was to cut the cylinder in an angle and have the top vessel staying tilted on the stem, like a flower. The idea of stacking pieces is new to to murano production (glass should not touch glass): this and its incredible design is what makes it rare to find. It is a vintage piece, therefore it might show slight traces of use, but it can be considered as in excellent original condition. Diameter: 58 cm. Height: 105 - 107 cm.
