Description
Ancient african kora with 3 arms. African art according to legend, the first kora was the personal instrument of a female genius who lived in the caves of missirikoro in mali. Impressed and moved by the music of the instrument, tiramakhan traore (great warlord under the reign of sundiata kéita), dispossessed the woman-genie. The instrument fell to djelimaly, the group's griot. Djelimaly passed it on to his son kamba. And so it passed from father to son until tilimaghan diabaté who introduced it to mali. The instrument is in very good condition. A shell is missing from his left arm. Height: 93 cm - 36.61 " width: 48 cm - 18.89 " weight: 1.2 kg.
