Armchair bergère style Louis XIII, Ebénistes David

Shepherdess in walnut stained oak, on coil feet with spacer. Feathered cushion seat. Special suspension in the seat bowl trim. Back with ears and wooden armrests with butt resting on the console with coils. Blue and green fabric, riveted on the sides and fringe with pompoms at the base of the seat. Very comfortable and quite heavy. This armchair was made by gérard david of the house "david frères", art furniture house created in 1856 in marseille. They will be the most famous cabinetmakers from the late nineteenth century until the 1930s. H 100 X w 70 X d 90. Seat length 55 X backrest height 60.
