Elegant work table from the William IV era (English Regency). Rosewood veneer with a solid wood base. This superb period work table combines historical refinement and functional utility. It features a storage drawer, ideal for haberdashery or small items. The lower part retains its original suspended basket, made of pleated golden yellow fabric, designed to hold needlework. The piece rests on an elegant central base, which is itself set on a stable four-legged base. Wear consistent with age and use - some visible defects in the photos - the fabric of the drawer basket is worn and stained. No key.
