1930s Czech Oak Filing Cabinet from Baťa Factory, Zlín

Rare 1930s oak office filing cabinet originating from the Baťa factory in Zlín, Czechoslovakia. This substantial vintage cabinet is a fine example of interwar Czechoslovak industrial and office furniture, combining highly functional construction with excellent traditional craftsmanship. Constructed predominantly from solid oak, the cabinet features six generously proportioned filing compartments arranged in two columns. Each front retains distinctive period hardware including brass label holders, hinges, pull handles and locking details, creating a particularly attractive and authentic industrial appearance. The ingenious internal filing compartments were originally intended for documents and office records.
