Description
This is an old english sadler ceramic coffee pot. It was made by james sadler in the 1950s. James sadler and sons ltd was a pottery manufacturer founded in 1882. The sadler coffee pot is a beautiful dark green with a gold floral design. There is the brand stamp and it is numbered below. The color of the teapot is slightly greener than the photo. It is in very good condition. There are no cracks or chips. Some signs of normal wear underneath and on the gilding (see photos). This adds patina and creates beauty to the item. Dimensions: height: 20 cm, length from spout to handle: 16 cm. Weight: 720 g this is a rare item, difficult to find. This teapot is a very beautiful display item which will look great on a table. It makes a perfect gift.
